6 Weeks and Counting

Well, I had a blog entry composed on paper that I was supposed to post yesterday, but it'll have to wait until tomorrow. I have great news to share! Instead of 8 weeks left in my MBA program, I only have 6 calendar weeks! I submitted a request for a prerequisite waiver, in order to start my capstone class 2 weeks early, and I heard this morning it was approved! So now instead of completing on August 4, the day before I leave for Vegas, I will complete on July 21! That allows me 2 weeks with my kids and time to stitch before i leave for Vegas! I am so excited I just had to share this with all of you!

9 Weeks!

I have 9 weeks left to complete my MBA! I cannot wait, I am so tired of studying and writing papers and everything else! The best part of all is that the day after I complete my MBA, I get to take a fabulous trip to Las Vegas to meet many of my BB friends for the first time! It will be a well earned vacation and time of rest!

During the next 9 weeks, I will manage to survive another summer swim season, my DH and DD both traveling one out of town on business and one to summer camp. My DS and I will have a week with just the 2 of us, and many other exciting things this summer! Both kids have birthdays in this timeframe and each will have a party this year. DS's is at the local Chuck E. Cheese equivalent and DD's is still in the thinking about phase, but will probably include her 2 best friends and the mall! In and amongst all this I hope to find some time to stitch, as I am way behind on my Mini Mystery E, taht I really wanted to do and keep up with.

My 4 month stitching slump really has me bummed out at this point. I did pick up a needle to help DD get started with her first project on evenweave, and that felt so good, that I really want to stitch now, but once the kids are in bed, I'm too tired. MAybe this afternoon, I'll take some time and get my project started!

Other intersting news, I put in a request for a prerequisite for my final class to be waived. If it is approved, I only have 7 more weeks till I'm done with my MBA, instead of 9! Please pray that they approve my request, since that would just really make my day!

I really am not having any deep profund thoughts this morning, so I'm just rambling. Ahhh well, I'll go back to reading BBs and other blogs, maybe something will strike!
